Thank you for visiting our blog! We are pleased to present Action Peru Trek’s first blog post.
We will post a few times a week. The topics will vary. They might be examples of unique things that happened on treks recently. There will be some educational topics. One major thing will be answering questions. When we get general questions from a trekker we will post the question and answer here (without the trekker’s personal information of course).
So our first topic is very brief and very pertinent at the moment since it is currently the month of February!
Why is the Inca Trail closed in February?
There are two reasons for this. First of all repairs and maintenance are performed throughout the month. Secondly the excessively rainy weather in February makes trekking more dangerous.
It is important to note that Machu Picchu remains open during February so you can still visit the amazing citadel!
Rated highly on TripAdvisor, our reputation echoes through hundreds of elated trekkers. The praise from our travelers propels us to continually refine our offerings, ensuring an exceptional journey for every adventurer.
